After its initial launch in Saldanha in 2015 with the EVOLUTION Lisboa, the brand will arrive in the north of the country, more precisely in Vila Nova de Gaia, at the corner of Avenida da República with Rua Luís de Camões. An old milling factory will make way to a new four-star hotel where the requalification of the surrounding block is also part of the project scope.The EVOLUTION brand was created by the SANA Group to show that a hotel can be much more than what it usually is. In Saldanha, the group created a hotel that drew inspiration from the city to become a meeting point not only for those who arrive, but also for those who live in Lisbon. They called it a new generation of hotels, more technological and cosmopolitan, with a bolder image as well. Since the beginning, the goal has always been to take this irreverence to other places, inside and outside the country. After Saldanha and Valbom in Lisbon will follow the EVOLUTION Cascais Estoril and the EVOLUTION Porto Gaia, just a few minutes away from downtown Porto.

With a strong technological component, everything at EVOLUTION is designed to make life easier for those who arrive, even if they are not going to stay and choose the hotel, for example, as a coworking space. Who wants to work in closed and boring spaces when they can be in a fun and open place to the world? There are also private meeting rooms if necessary, and unique spaces for social events. In the rooms, there are no shortage of the usual amenities and comfort, but the incorporated technology stands out, allowing the direct control of access to hotel services, as well as room equipment and the budget intended to be spent during the stay.

And because EVOLUTION is a hotel that lives with its doors open to the city, the gastronomy is set high as part of the project, with appealing menus in restaurants and bars, as well as a composed agenda. Only in Saldanha, there have already been created hangover brunches on January 1st, of course, and bachelor parties, in addition to the usual after-work parties, always without disturbing those who want to sleep early, thanks to a careful architecture and cautious soundproofing work done here.

The EVOLUTION can be a party, but it is not a wild one. The standards of excellence remain the same as in any other project of the SANA group, despite being considered more alternative and informal hotels.
